Willl my body shut down if I am low on electrolytes?
Asked 2 years ago
My boyfriend enjoys following new trends, so he bought us a filtration system. Our apartment's water quality has greatly improved, but I'm still struggling to adjust to the bland water. I'm concerned that this is due to a lack of electrolytes in the water. I'm afraid something bad will happen if I keep drinking it like that.

Certain water filtration systems remove the essential minerals from the water as well as the contaminants. If this is the case in your household, drinking demineralized water can result in negative health issues. Adding mineral drops (electrolytes) to your water is recommended for improving the taste as well as adding essential nutrients.
