Is live water good for you?
Asked 2 years ago
I live on the edge of a forest and I spend a lot of time by the stream that flows through it. I want to know- Can I drink this unfiltered stream water? Is live water good for you?

Drinking water straight from the source may be harmless in unpolluted areas. However, if you're unsure where the stream originates, it may be better to avoid drinking the water. No matter how pristine a stream looks, it can still be filled with tiny pathogens, bacteria, and viruses. This water may contain more minerals, but the risk of getting ill is not worth the benefit from the trace minerals.
