Is Gatorade or water better for rehydrating in high-heat areas?
Asked 2 years ago
I go jogging at least twice a week as part of my workout routine. I like getting in a bit of cardio just to stay lean and get the heart pumping. I don’t know if I should be carrying water or Gatorade when I go for a quick run, especially in areas like mine where the heat is always high.

There are scenarios where Gatorade may be what your body needs, like when participating in high-intensity workouts that are 45 minutes to an hour. But for people who aren't exercising intensely for at least one hour, five days per week, water is the best for staying hydrated. It has natural electrolytes without the added dye and sugar.
