What electrolytes are good for fatigue from long performance periods?

I’ve heard a lot of people say that electrolytes are good for energy, especially for athletes like me. I often experience fatigue after extended sessions of endurance training. Would taking in electrolytes help me fight fatigue when performing for extended periods?

Your body needs electrolytes to move your muscles, send neurotransmitters from your brain to different organs, and regulate fluid volume levels. The most important electrolyte for fatigue is sodium. Drinking electrolyte-infused water will help reduce the amount of fatigue you feel after intense training.
