Is water that has gone through reverse osmosis healthy?
Asked 2 years ago
Many people have been recommending reverse osmosis as a method of purifying water, but I've read articles saying that reverse osmosis removes all the minerals (beneficial or not) from water. Safe to say, I'm a little confused. Is water that has been purified using reverse osmosis healthy? Is there maybe a way to get those minerals back in the water?

According to the World Health Organization, water that has gone through reverse osmosis has a low mineral level (TDS) and is unsuitable for long-term human consumption. Reverse osmosis removes the good minerals that aid overall muscle and heart health. People who only drink RO water may suffer from muscle cramps, fatigue, and general weakness.
