Can mineral drops affect the pH of reverse osmosis water?

Asked 3 years ago

I was so excited about getting my reverse osmosis water system that I decided to get a home water test kit to make sure. My water has a neutral pH, which I believe is the cause of the bland taste. I'm looking for a safe way to increase its alkalinity. I'd like to try mineral drops, but I'm not sure if they're right for me.

Yes, the mineral content in water has a direct effect on the pH levels. Water with a higher mineral content is more on the alkaline side. Adding mineral drops to your RO water is a safe way to increase the alkalinity.
