Should I add minerals to remove the bland taste of Reverse Osmosis water?

After I complained about the strange smell of our city water, my husband purchased a reverse osmosis water system for us. Our water is now much clearer and has no odors. However, it tastes bland and grotesque. I'd like to improve the flavor in some way, and I'm wondering if mineral drops would be ideal for this.
