Can Ayurveda cure food allergies?
Asked 13 days ago
My son has several food allergies, and it's been really challenging managing his diet and dealing with reactions. We've been exploring different approaches, and I've come across some information about Ayurveda. I'm intrigued by its focus on digestion and balance, and I'm wondering if it could potentially offer a long-term solution for his allergies, rather than just managing the symptoms.
To be honest, I'm not expecting a 'magic bullet,' but I'm curious if Ayurveda can address the root cause of his allergies and perhaps even help him outgrow some of them eventually.

So, Ayurveda for allergies? It's not exactly mainstream, but I've seen some interesting stuff in this sub about it. Here's the deal:
- hey're all about that gut health, which honestly makes sense for allergies.
- They look at your kid's whole deal, not just slap a one-size-fits-all band-aid on it.
- Turmeric and ginger are apparently allergy-fighting agents in Ayuverda.
- They've got this detox thing called Panchakarma. Sounds intense, but some folks swear by it.
- Diet stuff that's not just "avoid X, Y, Z." They're into finding what works for YOUR kid.
- It's not just about food. They look at stress, sleep, all that jazz.
Just PLEASE don't ditch your EpiPen or ignore your allergist! This is more of a "alongside regular treatment" kinda thing.
