Should I remineralize reverse osmosis water to avoid mineral leaching?
Asked 2 years ago
My father wants me to get a water filtering system when I move into my new apartment. I was looking for the best water purifier, and reverse osmosis came up. I'm concerned about removing nutrients from filtered water, and I want to avoid leaching nutrients from my body.

Water may contain minerals, but they are at such low levels as to be non-nutritive. Calcium and magnesium are examples of these minerals. Filtered water, from which minerals and other more harmful substances have been removed, provides a purer vehicle for your body to process - not leach out - nutrients from food.
