Is it okay to regularly drink desalinated water?
Asked 2 years ago
I'm worried that constantly drinking desalinated tap water may adversely affect my organ health. Should I be concerned? I don't easily trust that the people who run a city are always capable. s demineralizing water using a desalinating process the best water purification method there is? Or are there still harmful side effects involved?

Drinking desalinated water on a long-term basis is not advisable. Desalinated water contains no essential minerals or salts, and the long-term health effects can affect your organs and the functioning of your tissues, bones, and immune system. Unmineralizaed water leaches minerals from your body, meaning the minerals you get from food and vitamins are urinated away.
