How often should I change the water filter?
Asked 2 years ago
My wife had her dad install a water filter in our home, and I have no idea how to manage it. However, I still want to enjoy quality water, but I don’t know what the recommended period for replacing a filter is in a residential setting.

It depends on how much water flows through the filter. If you use a lot of water, you may have to change the filter every six months. Most households need to change their filters at least once a year. You will know it's time to change the filters when they become clogged and reduce the water's flow rate.
