What are the signs of contaminated water?
Asked 2 years ago
I am trying to teach my kids about noticing the signs of contaminated water, even though the water in our home is filtered. What are the signs of contaminated water (smell, taste, texture, etc.)? Thank you!

The minerals in clean water are not visible to the naked, so if it's clear and has no odor or taste, it's clean. Contaminated water may be cloudy, contain visible sediment, be off-color, have an oily film, smell like chlorine or sulfur, have a metallic taste, or stain your crockery, cutlery, or bathtub.
