Can the pH of drinking water change over time?
Asked a year ago
Can the pH level of water alter when the water stands or is stored in the fridge? I usually vortex my water but I often fill bottles leave one on my desk, nightside table and in the fridge. The ones in the fridge gets stored for quite a few days. Does this change the pH level?

The pH of water can change when it stands for a while, especially if it is exposed to the air. Additionally, if water is stored in containers that are not properly sealed, it may be exposed to other contaminants or bacteria, which can also affect the pH of the water, making it not safe for drinking.
