How can I increase the pH value of filtered water?
Asked 2 years ago
A while back, I noticed that some faucets in the house had bluish-green stains on them, and I looked it up, and it turned out that the pH level of the water was a bit low. Ever since then, I have been very conscious about my water quality, and now I also want to try out different methods of improving the quality of my water and pH.

To increase the PH value of filtered water you can add an alkaline substance. For example, half a teaspoon of baking soda per one gallon of water. It may be impractical to add baking soda to your household water supply, so ionizers, and in some cases, water softeners can also increase the PH value of filtered water.
