Does water filtration change the smell?
Asked 3 years ago
I am quite particular about the smell and taste of my water. However, my husband wants to install a filtration system in our home. My main concern is that the system is changing the way that my water tastes and smells.

Water filtration will remove bad odors caused by chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). So, while water filtration can change the taste and smell of water, it is to your benefit. If the water from your filtration systems starts smelling or tasting bad over time, it is an indication that the filters need changing.
