How much time does it take to filter water by absorption?
My partner and I want to get a water filter installed in our home, but we want something time-efficient. So I have been looking up options and they’re more into the water absorbing filters because that’s the one their parents have. Absorption sounds like a filtering method that is time-consuming.Asked a year ago

Does filtered water remain hard?
I only just recently learnt that having thick residues of soap on your skin and hair after a shower means that your water is hard. I want to filter the water as a means to treat it, but I’m not sure if that's a great idea. If I filter hard water, will it still remain hard?Asked a year ago

Should I add mineral drops to RO water to prevent mineral leaching?
My husband wants us to get a reverse osmosis filter for our new apartment. I've been researching the filtration system, which is exactly what we'll need since we'll be drawing water from our private reservoir. I'm worried that if I drink filtered water it will leach nutrients from my body. Should I get mineral drops to avoid this?Asked 7 months ago

Will remineralizing RO water cause limescale to accumulate in kitchen appliances?
I live on a private reservation with my own well. For some reason, the groundwater was causing limescale buildup in my kitchen and bathroom faucets. I bought a reverse osmosis system and now have much cleaner, softer water. I'd like to replenish some lost minerals, but I'm concerned that doing so will resurface the limescale problem.Asked 7 months ago
