Is it better to cook with Reverse Osmosis filtered water than regular water?
Asked a year ago
My wife wants me to get her a reverse osmosis filter for our kitchen. She's a talented chef who loves the finest ingredients for her cooking. I understand that reverse osmosis removes many contaminants. However, I'm skeptical of using reverse osmosis filter water instead of regular tap water for cooking.

It is actually very beneficial to cook with reverse osmosis water. Cooking with RO water eliminates the heavy metals, chemicals, and other contaminants that could potentially alter the flavour of your food. Cooking with reverse osmosis water will result in better tasting dishes that also appear more colorful.
