What is the average pH of tap water in America?

Hi we just moved to the USA a month ago but have only been drinking structured water and natural spring water. I've been too hesitant to drink tap water because I am from another continent altogether. But in the event I need to drink tap water, what are the pH levels of tap water in America?

In general, the pH of tap water in the United States is typically in the range of 6.5 to 8.5.  The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires public water systems to maintain a pH level between 6.5 and 8.5, which is considered safe for human consumption.
