Should I drink Gatorade frequently if I play high-intensity sports?
Asked 2 years ago
I have been looking for the best way to sustain and replenish my energy levels during and after my sporting events. I’m a long-distance runner and I participate in a lot of marathons. I’m curious to know if drinking more Gatorade over water is the best way to go. Got to know the best way to stay hydrated!

Gatorade contains electrolytes as well as a carbohydrate source, so it hydrates and helps you train for longer with less fatigue. Gatorade helps replace the glycogen that is lost while training intensely and was specifically designed to help athletes perform better. However, it is still important to hydrate with water as well.
