Will a RO filtration system provide water on-demand in my kitchen?
Asked a year ago
I recently moved to a new house, and it gets hot in the summer. My family enjoys being outside and prefers to stay hydrated with water. I want to upgrade my kitchen water filtration system, and reverse osmosis filters appeal to me. I'm afraid the system will run out of water on hotter days.

It's not likely that simply consuming more water will deplete your water supply. However, there are other reasons your RO system may run out of water. Your RO tank might stop dispensing water if your storage tank pressure is too high or low, there's inadequate water pressure due to a clogged filter or municipal issues, a blockage in the water supply line, or a leak in the tank.
